STAFF PASS lobby-cleared crew
The onsite hat bar that clears building security.
Merch Troop rolls a complete hat bar into your office, store, or booth: curated caps on a display wall, your logo as a real patch, and a crew that presses each one in about ninety seconds while the owner watches.
Orange County based. On floors in LA, OC, San Diego, and Las Vegas weekly — nationwide with lead time.

How the station runs
Pick the cap
Guests choose from a curated wall — Richardson 112 truckers, Flexfit fitted, relaxed dad caps, or beanies for winter dates. You approve the mix and colorways before we order.
Pick the patch
Your brand marks, produced as woven, leather-debossed, chenille, or printed patches. Most programs run a menu of four to eight options so the choice feels personal but stays on brand.
Placement & press
The guest positions the patch — front and center, off-panel, back arc — and our operator heat-seals it permanently. The press cycle is the show; nobody skips watching their own.
Wear it out
No drying, no curing rack, no pickup table. The hat leaves on a head, which is exactly what you want walking around a conference floor or an office all afternoon.
One offer, priced for a workday
Most corporate hat bars book as a single package: a staffed station from about $5,000 for local Southern California dates. That figure covers the crew, the press equipment, the display build, setup and teardown — then hats and patches are quoted per unit on top, so a 150-person office and an 800-badge expo booth are priced honestly instead of forced into the same tier.
Staffing runs $250 per hour and the clock includes load-in and load-out, not just service hours. Programs outside the OC/LA/SD corridor add a $900 travel fee; Las Vegas convention dates are a regular run for us.

Patches built to your brand standards
The patch is where a hat bar earns its keep with a marketing team. We produce your artwork as woven patches for fine logo detail, leather-debossed for an executive-gift feel, chenille for a varsity look, or full-color printed patches when the mark uses gradients. Custom patch production takes two to three weeks, so patch approval is the first date we lock on any timeline.
Want more than caps? The same crew runs companion stations — live apparel pressing, laser engraving on straps and tumblers, and sticker printing — when the program calls for a bigger footprint.

Quick answers before the spec sheet
How many hats should we order?
Plan for 60 to 75 percent of headcount — not everyone wears hats, and the math holds from office days to expo booths. Unpressed blanks are yours to keep at teardown, so the overage becomes new-hire stock instead of waste.
How long should the bar stay open?
Match it to the traffic, not the calendar. At 40 to 60 finished hats per hour, a three-hour window clears about 150 people; office dates do best straddling the 11-to-2 lunch rush, booth dates run with expo hours and restock between surges.
Can the same program run in multiple cities?
Yes — once your patch art is produced and the cap menu approved, the program repeats anywhere. Same display, same specs sheet, same crew standards, whether the next stop is your Denver office or a Vegas booth.
Is a heat press safe for an office lobby?
Completely. There's no ink, no fumes, and no open flame — just a press cycle at conversation volume. The station runs on one 120V/20A circuit, keeps fire lanes clear, and leaves the lobby exactly as it found it.
